Once again, it is so cold in my office that I am wearing my jacket, hat and scarf. I'd put my gloves on too, but it would make it too hard to type. I can't imagine what my SQL queries would look like if I tried.
The long weekend was wonderful for me. I relaxed, spend time with friends and read a lot. I didn't go shopping on Black Friday, but I did have to buy some household items, so I ventured out on Saturday without harm to myself or others. The crowds really didn't seem that bad to me, but that's probably because I was on a mission with a shopping list and pretty much got in and out without much fuss. Later on, when I'm shopping for presents, things might be different.
I had more people over for Thanksgiving than I thought I would, so the turkey that I bought was pretty much gone by the end of the night. There was enough for a couple of meals of leftovers, but it didn't even last the long weekend. Luckily, DLF had a team dinner on Saturday night with all the fixings, so I've had sufficient turkey to get me through until Christmas.
I went to practice on both Saturday and Sunday this week, and yesterday it was kind of hard to move. Today is better, but I'm still a bit stiff. I'm glad I went, though, since I obviously needed it.
