(no subject)

While walking around Portland today, Sybil Unrest, curious_cynic and I saw Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn. It was cool, but I wish that I had noticed earlier so I could have gotten a better look at them. They're both much smaller in person than I imagined. They were walking around the "Under the Autumn Moon Festival" that was happening in Chinatown, just like the rest of us. I wonder if the little Korean girls handing out fortune cookies gave them some, and if they knew who they were if they did. (Man, that sentence is convoluted, but you get the idea.)

Right now I am doing laundry and watching episodes of Lost while recovering from this weekend. The Rose City Rollers Championship bout was fun, and now I'm even more excited for our upcoming bout. I was rooting for the Guns N Rollers, and although they put up a good fight, the Heartless Heathers took the championship. I spent a bunch of money I shouldn't have on rollergirl swag, adding to my growing collection of derby related gear. Pretty soon, I'm going to have an entire dresser drawer devoted to roller derby t-shirts. I'm not sure what to think about that.
