Dec. 18th, 2007 11:37 amI was just updating my calendar with practice times for the next few weeks, and I realized that we have a scheduled practice on New Year's Day. Seriously? Why haven't we canceled that practice? I'm pretty sure it will have a low turnout. Maybe I'm wrong and people will be just dying to skate on the first day of the new year. I haven't made up my mind about attending one way or the other, but I was surprised to see it on the schedule. At least it's bouting practice and not endurance, so we can start the year off by trying to hit each other instead of torturing ourselves for 2 hours. I admit, my endurance has gone down in the off season, but that doesn't mean I want to try to get back on track on the very first day back.
