Jul. 6th, 2007 04:19 pmI want to sit on a patio somewhere and drink umbrella drinks. I have a meeting tonight, so maybe I'll wander downtown and sit in the sun and read my book instead.

bohunk, beatnikside, curious_cynic, montykins and tura. We did well enough, I suppose, coming in third, but I don't know if I'd want to make it a regular thing because of the venue. Jillian's drink/food prices are a bit too spendy for me, especially since I got charged $2.06 for my soda water with lime. That's supposed to be a free drink, I tell you. Also, it's tournament play, so you accumulate points over the course of a season, and that's where the real money is at. I'm more of an instant gratification kind of girl, I like my winnings right away, thank you. The first place team does get a cash prize to split, but I think that the second and third place teams should also get something. I am a big fan of bar credit or cheesy prizes. I just like winning stuff.
I do want to start doing trivia more often, though, so we'll see if I can find a time and a team that's a good fit. Oh, and the more I play trivia, the more I realize that I'm not really good at it, but I still like it anyway.
