Yesterday, I watched so much roller derby, it's insane. The Bumberbout tournament had eight teams competing, and took 12 hours. And it was all amazing. I did some scorekeeping during the first pool, but then I got to sit and watch our girls kick some major ass. The Rat City team took second place, and the Texas Rollergirls took first, but not easily. The game was a close one all the way through and I screamed my head off. It was so much fun. Now, I'm off to a barbeque to hang out with whichever of the skaters from yesterday are feeling up to it. I have a feeling that even the ones that weren't injured are feeling a little sore today.
